GDC company launch and Founders Networking Event. (Lilongwe Chapter)
On June 18, 2021, we launched Growth Development Consultancy and the Founders Network Malawi at the Sunbird Capital Hotel, Malawi.
The Founders Network Malawi (FNM) is a community of professionals who help each other succeed. The professionals are individuals who have or want to start businesses or organizations in Malawi.
During the event, several artists showcased their talents, such as Sangwani Oswald who made a memorable poem, and others managed to sell their art for more than MK 25,000.00.
The event was funded by DISCOM communications headed by Doreen Kayoyo (Managing Director for Discom Communications Ltd and Senior Business and International Education Consultant). The Guest of Honor was Mr. Mufwa Munthali (Deputy Director of Foreign Trade) and in attendance was John Hegarty (Director of International Programs, for Scecina Memorial High School).
25 (18M,7F) entrepreneurs and 4 (3M, 1F) media personnel attended the event. In general, the event was hailed as a success and was featured in the National newspaper.
